We will miss his smile, his lovely face,
That wicked sense of humour, his warm embrace.
He loved his speedway, footie too, Charlton was his team,
He even flew a Tiger Moth, which fulfilled his dream.
Big Band and Jazz music would fill the air,
From radio’s he had hidden here and there.
His belief in God was second to none,
A wonderful husband and father to his daughters and son.
We will miss you Dad, we will miss all your love,
Gone but not forever, Dad you are the ‘GUV’

Dearling (dear/darling!) dad, this would have been your 90th birthday! I know had you been alive but incapitated you would have hated it! but I would have looked after you as best as i could as (we the family) did mum..my heart aches without you dad, the family is so small now that mum has gone to join you...we need you and mum to use your influence to the 'big cheese' to help with our family worries and of course please help with my health!! missing you as much as the first day..you were the guv and i was your chucky..love always Annexxx

Dearest Dad, Guv,
we miss you so very much. We will keep up with the prayers and masses and know that you are in gods safe keeping always. Please keep any eye on us and say alittle prayer to the almighty and saints for health for the family, esp me! We stay close to each other and always will dad, mum has been 5 years living with us and we are thankful for having her still with us.

Darling Guv,
5 years today since we lost the most precious person in our lives. Yet we all know you are keeping an eye on us from above and helping each of us through our lives especially at times of crisis. I know you have been with me through my treatment and will carry on helping me fight the nasties. We love you and miss you always, your daughters, Annie, Yvonne, Margaret, son Peter and your dear wife Anna, 86 years old and still keeping us going thank god.
